Mobile Phone Xchange was created in 2005 primarily to encourage people to recycle their mobile phones. The founders noted that people habitually threw away old phones or left them lying around. They wanted to make people realize that even their old phones still had value. Now the owners of these phones can get cash for their old devices and contribute to the preservation of the environment at the same time.
